The MCN babe competition has been running for over 6 years at the MCN London Motorcycle Show and over the years we have seen numerous girls-next-door rise to fame on the motorcycle racing scene and beyond including the likes of Big Brothers Chantelle! The competition is always a highlight of the show and very popular with our male motorcyclists!
The competition
Entries by email only to carmella@ctassociates.co.uk (entry form downloadable from motorcyclenews.com/mcnbabes) along with 1 x head & shoulders and 1 x full length photo (copyright free). Any incomplete applications cannot be processed. Unfortunately we cannot accept any postal applications.

The closing date for entries is Friday 1st December 2008 - this will allow enough time for later entries to get some votes. The earlier you enter the better chance you’ll have of making it through to the semi-finals as your pictures will remain live for longer! Voting will take place by email. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified by post after the closing date.
Successful entrants will be invited to a semi final casting in either Manchester or London where 6 girls will be invited to the MCN London Motorcycle Show at ExCeL London. During this final stage the girls will battle it out for 4 days proving that they have got what it takes to be crowned ‘MCN Babe of the Year’. Working on different features at the event each girl will have their own text number whereby visitors to the show can vote for their favourite, the winner will be announced on the final day of the show – Sunday 1st February 2008.

Rules and Regulations: The MCN babe of the year competition is open to all UK resident females aged 18 or over who enter on or before the closing date of 1st December 2008. No purchase is necessary, but only one entry per person is allowed. Anyone who enters more than once will be excluded from the competition. We encourage early entries to ensure maximum exposure and voting is gained for each entry. Voting for the semi finalists will take place via an email voting system on www.motorcyclenews.com/mcnbabes. Contestants who have received the most email votes during the voting period will be asked to attend the semi final castings. All contestants who enter the competition must be available for a casting on either 15th December in London or 17th December 2008 in Manchester, depending on location of the entry. 6 finalists will be selected by the director of Carmella Terrana & Associates (our modelling agency). All contestants who enter the competition must be available for a photo shoot in London on Wednesday 7th January 2009. All finalists must be available to work all 4 days at the MCN London Motorcycle Show from 29th January-1st February 2009. This in non-negotiable.
The MCN babe of the year winner will be selected by visitors via a text voting system at the MCN London Motorcycle Show 2009, ExCeL London, and the winner will be announced on Sunday 1st February 2009. In the event of a tie, Carmella Terrana & Associates will act as judges. The Judges decision is final. The Promoters are Bauer Consumer Media Ltd, Media House, Lynchwood, Peterborough PE2 6EA. If for any reason beyond the promoter’s control it is not possible to provide the stated prizes, the promoter reserves the right to award alternative prizes of no lesser value. The promoter’s choice of alternative prize is final. No photo entries can be returned by the promoter. The promoter accepts no responsibility for resultant loss or delay of entries. We reserve the right to feature the names, photographs, and answers to our open ended questions and locations of winners in future promotions. Please note that photos may be downloaded by visitors to www.motorcyclenews.com and other websites promoting the competition. All photos relating to the competition remain copyright of Bauer Consumer Media Ltd. Bauer Consumer Media Ltd will not be liable in the case of the event closure.
Failure to comply with the above rules and regulations will result in disqualification.
